• Support board operations and act as a liaison between GAAP audit team and executive committees.
• Assist in implementation of Netsuite ERP system by proactively engaging with internal IT and external consultants to improve internal and external financial reporting processes.
• Manage preparation of federal and state tax reporting for all organizational entities.
• Liaison for other departmental groups including but not limited to: Legal, Advocacy and Foundations.

• Oversees outside controllership services including budgeting, cash forecasting, bookkeeping and compiling monthly financial statements for over 15 properties across the bar and restaurant industry.
• Manage a team of five staff accountants and interns to review bookkeeping and payroll functions.
• Develops weekly, monthly and annual budgets and cash flow projections.
• Implements and improves reporting systems, payroll procedures and internal controls over cash.

• Conduct audits and reviews for small to midsize companies, 401k benefit plans, and non-for-profit organizations.
• Perform GAAP, GAAS and tax research for clients in the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
• Manage multiple assurance teams to complete audits and reviews within client and reporting deadlines.
• Lead presentation of audit report and finding to audit committees and ownership stakeholders.
• Prepare federal forms 1120, 1065, 990 and 1040 and accompanying state filings.
